ditto😆
Intel really set themselves up for a perfect memefest😂
If I recall correctly, Canada got rid of carrier lock-in several years ago
Triple edit: omg thank you all for the (totally not useless) awards!!
guess we replaced Google
Noice🤌
Trying to listen to the voices in that video was giving me ear cancer.
honestly that’s totally fair
Suffice to say like League of Legends, the game has cool character design (and music!) but dogshit writing so far as a comprehensible story is concerned.
yeaaa the story def needs a rework/revision if they want to mainstream it to viewers
Let’s hope they hire some good writers/animators and can forge an “Arcane” out of the questionable source material they’ve got :o
that would be pretty sick✨
on distros that have more recent packages, like Fedora.
ah you’re right!
😳I asked a stupid question as I should’ve checked the Tech Compendium (ArchLinux Wiki) before asking😅
thanks! +1
A third player is absolutely welcome to the game
definitely agreed as more competition drives better products for lower prices to consumers✨
just wondering but do you happen to know if Intel’s gpus are good for all Linux distros?
The Steves are right that if A.I is still as profitable for both AMD and Nvidia by then, expect prices to go up for any flagship. It wouldn’t make any business sense not to.
you have a good point
although I have to wonder if we’ll have to wait 2 years:
currently for:
however for the vast majority of users, people will look for gpus with Windows in mind so in reality it might be just Intel and NVIDIA oddly enough
With the 7900 XTX currently being around
at what price point do you think AMD will release their next gen flagship?
ah that’s my bad that’s probably an accidental Koreanism
of course👍
the sites that would benefit users the most from implementing these would be those that retains user sensitive information:
tbh this might be a good thing (not talking about amazon)
yeeesh is this with Windows 10 and/or 11?
still not a fan of Windows
edit:
just remembered this is Windows 11, unfortunately I know some people that got forced to use it with most modern laptops
seems like it should be an opt-in setting in BIOS;
On the offhand chance that someone with a bricked HP laptop stumbles here looking for what to do (prob via smartphone or public library computer),
I’m assuming the users might be coming from Windows
hopefully this helps someone out there
just curious but wouldn’t it still be better for most users to consider migrating to Linux considering that
The Windows 10 support on Ryzen 9000 to me seems like AMD’s providing users a last hail mary to jump ship towards Linux before shit goes downhill as Windows 11 seems like a terrible decision to support considering Microsoft’s countless terrible decisions
hmm based on the sizeable downvotes it looks like I fucked up
gonna have to reflect on this and see where I messed up
Thinking about the cost of maintenance, liabilities, and ethical/moral decisions
good luck to anyone else thinking otherwise
fuck yeah✊
