But you still sadly have google services everywhere, popping up here and there, reminding you that they have control over apps
No, I don’t want to login with google or rate the app

Trop de gens de gauche sur cette instance, mais bon, on fait avec…

Most matrix clients just collect loads of data, so meh
They’re supposed to be hashed so that shouldn’t matter
Unless that’s the joke or something
I’ve already paid a lot of legal things and donated a lot with crypto. It’s pretty much the only way to pay online without giving away your personal info
At KFC they’re in a red plastic box of the same format. Can’t buy them cuz of reusable packaging laws in France, but that’s what I thought first when I saw this emoji
Yup it’s pretty good, although I would’ve liked it better if they provided a good way to export the data to another app
TheAnonymouseJoker is a clown (imo, no harassment or anything)
Talked with them on the subject of privacy emails and they recommended services that store mail unencrypted and logs your ip address and stuff
Their sources are « activists » that they like, rather than facts. I suspect their don’t like bigger companies and famous things even if they’re better
I use grapheneos and it’s pretty good. Yes the main dev can be a bit of an asshole, but for what it claims to do, grapheneos is pretty good
Sadly anything with google services, even sandboxed, is going to track you, and I believe grapheneos is pretty good at what you can do without sacrificing too much
Yea, I mean the vote to renew chat control 1.0
Isn’t it to vote to renew chat control 1.0?
Isn’t that the vote for chat control 1.0?
Sarcasm?
That was the case for me, until I decided to read the article
It was kinda wrote like a statement. People who didn’t read the article will read it as such, misinforming people

You’re the ones defending a service yet you don’t know that. Seems like someone who just found out the service can do better research. But hey, thanks for not being overly aggressive and claiming to know everything like this other guy.
Their privacy policy. They log IP addresses and are not immune to legal actions, and as such, are not really better than Proton in terms of legal actions
I’ve never heard of those 2 providers and they don’t seem to be any better. I’m just looking for facts to back that and so far I haven’t seen any
Being skeptical doesn’t mean being a troll or a fed, wtf. I don’t know what you’re on but it seems cool
As for the « are you trying to discredit … without evidence » I want to answer « what can be asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence »
Source: trust me bro
It’s just that more people use proton so more of them have their identity leaked. I don’t see how the terms of these 2 companies are better
Not sure how they’re better than proton is terms of compliance and anonymity
Proton does require a recovery email address if you sign up to a mail forwarding service or similar, right after creating the account. In that case the account remains locked if you don’t, so that’s just a lie
I would not call an OS where you can’t really start any “big” app a success. If you can’t do anything with it, what’s the point?
You can’t really degoogle a phone without sacrificing a lot of things. Most “degoogled” phones just use a compatibility layer that still gives google loads of infos
I would much rather have neither of Apple or google, but having to chose, I prefer Apple, at least they’re not on every website I visit
Btw you can “deapple” by jailbreaking but it becomes a huge pain, as degoogling is
Finding a good phone with good specs, a good OS that is elegant and doesn’t track you at an acceptable price with all the features just isn’t possible
