sda6 is the fourth one (after sda3) in the list on the bottom picture. The partitions seem to be physically in that order, but labeled differently, as they were created. You can reorder the labels but it’s also fine left alone AFAIK.
They host their own marketplace. It doesn’t have everything, but it’s trivial to install any extension from a .vsix file. Unless you use 50 and need to update them…
Any self-respecting distro pushed an update to fix this days ago, so just updating (and restarting cups) will do. But if you don’t print anyway, you might as well disable it.
SC redownloads map data if it is over 12 hours old on your device, so you’re likely seeing up to date information. And you can always download manually in an area to see the absolute freshest data, if you think that’s necessary.
Organic Maps doesn’t update the data nearly as often, as it’s not really meant for editing. That being said, unless you are in a busy area, the chances of a fellow mapper already having submitted that data since the last update in OM is slim.
At the end of the day, you should just do what is convenient for you and allows you to contribute easier.
One is !programmerhumor@lemmy.ml the other !programmer_humor@programming.dev
It could be that OP means the real name, not the display name.
Ah! I would assume the imported sources were decent enough, at least!
I think mapping them might be decent with SCEE. (Might be in normal StreetComplete as well.) You have to enable the quest type as it is disabled by default, but then it offers the quest and even displays recently used values.
That is if you know your stuff, me I would have to have a tree identification book in my other hand, so I guess a specialized app with that functionality would be neat.
6.6% of trees have the species tag filled out! That’s much more than I expected!
I am relatively new as well. Someone asked for some clarification on an edit I made, and it turned out I had made a mistake.
In addition, if you leave notes, those may go without interaction for a long time. Although it is true that notes can be resolved without any further input from the original account.
I don’t think that’s good etiquette in such communities. I realize the privacy concerns, but what if someone wants to message you about your edits?
Not editing around such sensitive areas is a better choice IMO. Hopefully someone else will.
Every edit will have your username on it. If you edit a lot in certain areas, one might guess that you live/work around there. Other than that, I doubt there are any such considerations.
Some apps allow uploading photos when making a note. These services may not clear some of the metadata, though geolocation is already obvious from the note itself.
As long as it’s in your list, your client keeps a copy of the torrent file around somewhere.

Have you tried Warpinator? It only does files and has none of the issues you mentioned.
In this case definitely the first. Just make a new directory (name doesn’t matter: SATA, Files, data…) and use your distro’s tool to change the mount point (Disks on GNOME and derivatives, or just edit fstab yourself)
You can just mount it in a folder in your home directory. This is not a weird thing to do.
I too had an NTFS partition at first. Definitely not great, since it trashes your file permissions. I was glad to be rid of it when I binned the other OS.
Arch + Cinnamon is neato!
Yep. Would be pretty bad software otherwise. Best to set it up so it keeps one monthly, one weekly, and 2-3 daily snapshots. Then you don’t even need to think about it, and it deletes older ones automatically. You can still do manual snapshots, and it won’t delete those.
I’ve never installed fedora specifically but…
It’s either ext4 or free, can’t be both. Now, if it was ext4, Fedora would for sure detect it as such, so I’m not sure what it is.
I assume you would want to click on sda6 in the installer, then the “-” button to delete whatever is there, and then it would recognize it as available space.
