I don’t understand, why did you post a random picture of some pavement ?
I would pay money to see daddy Linus flip off some big shot intelligence official
Yeah they usually have the most dramatic impact on games that have bad CPU optimization, which is a lot of them tbh
I think the 5700x3d is the first one they made, iirc it outperformed even the high end CPUs from the next generation in quite a few benchmarks, but probably not the 7000 gen. If you want to keep the possibility of upgrading, I would advise against the 5700x3d because that’s basically already the best for this socket. By all accounts it’s great value for its price though.
You should try to go for a Ryzen “3D” variant with extra cache if you can spare the extra money, it works wonders on some games. I’ve had no issues with mine (7900x3d) so far on Linux
Currently it’s a grey area I think
Yeah, just like Twitch, it seems that YouTube has a way of conveniently “forgetting” these directives every now and then
Slapped a “Spanish flu” sticker on it to make them take the fall too
Which is why I ironically use “muggles” with my tech-literate friends when talking about people with normal levels of tech literacy
Meh. Don’t get me wrong, the USA joining world war 1 was the final nail in the coffin and likely cut the war short by a lot (and made it a slam dunk for the allies, instead of a pyrrhic victory), but compared to, say, Canada or Australia (not to mention the UK and Russia that both lost as much, if not more men than France) they basically didn’t fight. They joined very early and were invaluable in holding french territories throughout the war, which is why they both suffered more losses than the USA even though their militaries (and populations) were way smaller.
WW2 USA was an absolute juggernaut though
As a “gamer” and game developer, this is sound advice.
Found the Rimworld player
Meh. Imo anyone comparing an integer to a float and not expecting one of them to be implicitly casted to the other’s type will create that issue for themselves when doing the same thing with an explicit cast.
Agreed. But the less experienced programmers I know are surprisingly naive about this.
That makes sense, but then you’d just have people converting the int to a float manually and run into the exact same issues.
Yeah they have some cool gadgets and designs, but this kind of shit + the software side has always kept me away from the brand
I don’t play ark, but if what I read in this thread is to be believed, I’m pretty sure you’d have to repackage the game which is a big copyright nono. Also you would have to redo it with pretty much every content patch. So, probably not.
They’re saying that the question the witch asks is “who is the fairest ?” which does not mean “the most beautiful”
