  • Animals I’ve seen on my property: law enforcement, moose, elk, bison, cow, brown bear, black bear, wolf, wild dog

Number of times law enforcement has engaged me for existing while brown since I began to open carry: 0

Bonus: boomers, MAGA, and neolibs are all afraid to engage.

They’ll take my rifle and pistol when they pry them from my cold, dead hands.

It’s an ancient meme rooted in green text brevity, intentionally misused to form another ancient meme, leading through yet another to a fourth.

Appending .exe to whatever states that the contextually implied action was performed. For example:

    payday

    groceries.exe

    steak on sale

    dinner.exe

It’s being used here to obfuscate a folder, as file format was used to obfuscate distribution of the LOIC in the picture of the “It’s dangerous to go alone…” meme.

But, the cake is a lie. It was Morgan Freeman, all along.

I’d like to think they were singing about something so beautiful, it can’t be expressed in words, and it makes your heart ache because of it. I tell you, those voices soared higher and farther than anybody in a grey place dares to dream. It was as if some beautiful bird had flapped into our drab little cage and made these walls dissolve away.

  • I’d never worked out in my life. So, I visited many gyms, found a mom & pop, and hired the trainer free from corporate constraints.

My second session he said, “You might be better off doing bodyweight exercises at home for a few weeks.”

I told him that there was absolutely no way I’d form this habit by myself. I needed him to hold me accountable. I needed a routine.

We did bodyweight exercises at the gym for a few weeks. We set goals of a certain number of push ups, (band assisted) pull ups, sit ups, and (I forgot the name of the hamstring exercise) to “earn” my way back to the machines and free weights.

I can definitely understand how a trainer could get frustrated with an individual. But, a trainer that sends a noob home simply sucks. They should at least provide a referral to another trainer.

  • universally publicly-funded endeavor

History has always been in the hands of the victors. We’ve finally created a significant exception. But, status quo society doesn’t want the responsibility of reasoning out their own decisions or understanding those of others. They’ll believe it best to hand their power back to their oppressors. Even if they believe their oppressors “good”, they’re choosing to enslave greatness to democratic mediocrity. Anything but personal sacrifice.

All those people moving around for work and errands not making choices. They’re in their routine of doing what they’re supposed to do else some event may disturb their “comfort”. It’s scripted by the capitalists. Or, perhaps they’ve been replaced by a computer.

The wise old woman turned off the dream. No matrix for you. No choice as in the movies.

Star Wars. They were part of the rebel alliance and traitors to the empire. But, the cops couldn’t hit anything until one of them broke out a shotgun loaded with heat-seeking shot and fired it point blank. Don’t judge too harshly. They can’t see a thing in those helmets.

Ha, I mean, it’s not like there is a huge buy-in.

If one does the math for an average single income US household, a modest broadband connection is 15-20% of their disposable income. They survive on metered cellular.

If there was a good convenient service again, I’d start using it.

I’ll stay right where I’m at, paying less for more and giving more to content creators of substance, and with the convenience of a stable system.

    If there was a reasonably-priced ad-free service

Then I’d still not buy because typical services won’t fool me a third time. Reasonably priced ad free were called cable TV and Netflix. Then, each put ads in and hiked prices. The enshitification of Netflix is now common example of the commodification of an IT product or service.

We created atypical services for reasonably priced ad free content. It now costs me about $120/yr for whatever typical domestic or foreign programming, without ads. For $60/yr it’s domestic programming and few hours instead of a few minutes to grab a program. I also donate directly for some streaming content I enjoy, such as agadmator chess, then watch with an ad blocker. Both are reasonably priced and ad free.

The “radical neoliberal” radically clings to the short term comfort of bandwagon neoliberalism. While their lives are more expensive and more comfortable than someone in effective poverty, both live effectively paycheck to paycheck.

Only if some event beyond the radical neoliberal’s control happens, such as getting fired, might they experience poverty and prison. If we tell them this truth it forces them to perceive how dangerous the unrestrained bull market is as it runs loose in our collective fiscal china store. That doesn’t at all align with the radical neoliberal’s current ideology: “Be shallowly psycologically comforted by DNC POTUS marketing material. Hostility is warranted in rejection of all that does not provide comfort.”

The experience of prison and poverty is prerequisite to the radical neoliberal’s understanding it. Hypothetical unwarranted imprisonment isn’t an ethical means to any end.

The only proactive and ethical means for anyone without experience to understand poverty and prison is empathetically in the context of an existing relationship.
