For basic stuff like what’s done in a browser I use the Falkon Browser. Very light weight. I will say it sucks for video acceleration though. 480p Max.
I use it for YouTube, emails, word processing with libreoffice. Runs SNES emulators quite well too.
I’m running AntiX Linux on a shitty 2010 netbook and it runs like a champ. Intel Atom and 2gb RAM.

The only reason I dont use spoitfy, which one particular show was available on both, is because it doesnt support my RSS feed.
I can no longer play any podcast hosted on Apple podcasts, which is a distressing amount of them.
They work just fine in Chromium.
Imo, computing, like all other things, requires a little trust and risk. The problem is most people are Wayyy to trusting in general.
