Each of these exoduses moves the bar a little bit. We only lose if we give up. Eventually the bad decisions will catch up to them, as long as we keep pushing.

Drop the mic, bro. You earned it.
Make them magnetically attach to the screen.
Just a phone case with a retractable tether would work fine. Put it in your pocket. Tether is out of the way, completely invisible. Pull it out, tether extends enough to use it, and reteacs when you’re done. With a clip or strap, you can attach it to just about any outfit easily enough.
Realistically, if you have to have a phone somewhere like this where pickpocketing is likely, id suggest either a cheap phone you can lose, or keeping your phone in your hand/a hand on it in your pocket.
Why is that? The whole point of generative AI is that it can combine concepts.
You train it on the concept of a chair using only red chairs. You train it on the color red, and the color blue. With this info and some repetition, you can have it output a blue chair.
The same applies to any other concepts. Larger, smaller, older, younger. Man, boy, woman, girl, clothed, nude, etc. You can train them each individually, gradually, and generate things that then combine these concepts.
Obviously this is harder than just using training data of what you want. It’s slower, it takes more effort, and results are inconsistent, but they are results. And then, you curate the most viable of the images created this way to train a new and refined model.
Just a point of clarity, an AI model capable of generating csam doesn’t necessarily have to be trained on csam.
It’s almost like the point is to show that depression is a thing that’s not very well treated by having super cool things happen in life. That’s the scary thing. Being successful, but still not being enough for yourself. Having friends having lovers, but still feeling like you’re not worth the time of day. If everyone with depression only suffered from SLS, depression would be way less compelling and way less prevalent.
Much like the… lovely lady or gentleman above, that’s a bit reductive. There’s no one true style of relationship, and tossing out polyamory as bad and wrong, or monogamy as antithetical to humans base drives both miss out on the fundamental truth that no one solution works for everyone. The worst of both camps are those who try to say they’re right and the other cannot work.
And your complete dismissal over a simple typographic error demonstrates that you never intended to have an actual discussion. I had actually edited my post to polygamy because I had, inaccurately, recalled you using that word. At the end of the day, polyamory and polygamy, yes they’re distinct. It doesn’t change my statement regardless of which is used, however.
Right. The reductive part is assuming this problem would be solved by polygamy, when realistically there’s nothing at all showing that’s the case, except that there’s a guy who wants multiple women for different reasons. We only know that he wants that, but nothing of the motives and desires of the others, and thus it’s reductive to say “polygamy fixes this”.
That’s a bit reductive isn’t it? I’m all for consensual and open polyamory, but what problem, exactly, is solved in this by polyamory? If either party wants monogamy, which is a fairly safe assumption in the world today, then the polyamory just becomes lying, and that doesn’t help anyone.
I dunno, have you seen the drivers out there? Pretty sure some of them are watching movies.
