But seriously though, It’s been very nice and warm for a few weeks now. As long as I can sleep well, I don’t have any complaints.
And that’s why you need to figure out what’s the right balance of work and inconvenience vs. the amount of privacy you get in return. Setting up a degoogled android is possible and relatively easy too. Living with that phone and interacting with the real world around you in 2024 is a completely different matter, and it’s entirely understandable if that isn’t your cup of tea.
I’ve noticed that the search results are getting less and less relevant to what I’m actually looking for. I guess one day the search bar will disappear like the headphone jack of the iPhone.
Just found some LG business TVs/displays/signage that actually run Tizen. Remember that cool Linux distro that was supposed to take over the mobile world nearly 15 years ago? Well, turns out, it didn’t, but it didn’t it die completely either.
Hopefully those panels are a bit more hackable or more privacy oriented.
I wonder if anyone has made a custom rom for TVs, sort like Lineage or Graphene. These panels run Android, so why not?

Reminds me of the amazon products titled: “I’m sorry but I cannot fulfill this request it goes against OpenAI use policy,”.
I think we’re way beyond the point of no return. The internet has been ruined for good.
Or as I do:
- Watch videos of Cyberpunk
- Think of buying it
- Realize I still haven’t finished Mass Effect
- Never actually buy Cyberpunk.
Currently I’m thinking of Baldur’s gate 3, but you know… I’ll probably get around to it in a few years.
1·1 year agoMy mom ever told me. This human/bot dysphoria is causing me some very conflicting emotions.
Which one of those squares is supposed to be unique though? They all have a unique color, so maybe it doesn’t even matter which one you click?
That keyboard thing was pretty clever. I would not have thought of that.
