YEYEYEEEEEEEEEEE!
Don’t Think, Just Jam
YEYEYEEEEEEEEEEE!
For me it’s pretty much a cyclical thing. It happens regardless of circumstances so I just have to wait it out - I usually stick with manga & games until it swaps again.
Will do, just need to wait until I’m in a watching head space first (I’m having a bit of a hard time sitting down to watch anything at the moment). Thanks for recommendation though!
I’ve only seen the first two movies but this is exciting news. Please be good!
No problem. Mihon is pretty much Tachiyomi+ so if you ever decide to switch you should feel right at home and if not, Tachiyomi should still work fine unless there are some bigger extention changes. No need to worry about it for now, especially since you’re well prepared with your backlog.
As mentioned by OP Tachiyomi is no longer being worked on. Mihon, one of the main replacements/continuations, can be found here (official site) or here (code repo with builds).
To avoid the issue that killed Tachiyomi Mihon doesn’t ship with the extention list included. You’ll have to download this file and import it from the app. After that you can import your backup from Tachiyomi and use the new app as usual.
Yeah, this teaser definitely looks promising. Lets hope the actual show turns out great as well.
I didn’t follow this project particularly closely so someone more familiar with it can fact check me but I think keeping the art styles was one of the main features when it was announced.
Just appeal to another AI - two of them can’t be wrong at the same time, I’m sure of it!
They’re going to replace them with an AI powered tool, aren’t they? If they’re going to replace them at all that is.
That’s both horrible and hilarious - piracy serves a better product ones again…
Just so we’re clear, I completely agree with everything you wrote here. At the same time, I’ve seen people seriously holding the opinion you started with and those are the ones I was talking about. These are just my random musings though, they weren’t meant as a serious discussion about fandom or how this project will be received. All I know is I’ll be there for more GitS.
Totally, I’m just curious because from what I’ve heard manga is a bit more humorous than the movies/shows so it might be a bit of a shock (especially for those who don’t even know about the source material). I also have some… interesting experience watching various fandoms being confidently wrong about a lot of official stuff so that might be why I’m thinking about it.
Anyway, I’m on board with a manga adaptation - still haven’t read the thing myself and that could be a good push to finally do it.
Were there issues with subs before? It’s been a while since I saw this one but I don’t remember having any issues with that.
I wonder how people will react to that considering the difference in mood and atmosphere between manga and anime. I’d certainly like to give it a shot.
I’ve got as much details as you unfortunately. Official site doesn’t provide any info beyond what’s in the trailer description.
This movie contains a heavy amount of CGI so they most likely rerendered the whole thing from scratch, assuming they still have the source files for that stuff.
Edit: I looked around a little bit and while I didn’t find anything official I saw some suggestions this might just be an anniversary screening of the Japanese release from few years ago. Let’s hope we’ll get some more info on that.
I’m guessing “horny” is the answer.
It has been a while since I watched it so I’m not really sure how well it holds up but I remember 91 Days being pretty dope. It’s a mafia story about MC infiltrating a group responsible for the death of his family, set during the prohibition era in the US. It’s a short watch (12 episodes or so) too.
